About the bus
Fold Housing Association has long been proactive in seeking innovative ways to improve the quality of life for people with dementia.
We have now developed the Fold Brain Bus, with support from the Atlantic Philanthropies.
The Brain Bus will provide the first mobile dementia service in Northern Ireland, enabling adaptive technologies to reach as many users as possible.
The Brain Bus has been tailored to provide a safe and engaging area for its users. It is fitted with the latest touch screen computers and a wide screen TV for the users. These have been installed with specialist technology to assist people with dementia to interact with family, friends and carers.
